De’Asia Thompson LISW-S/LCSW @ Rise Counseling Group Hey girl! I’m De’Asia, a Licensed Independent Social Worker Supervisor in Ohio and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Tennessee. I founded Rise Counseling Group to help Black women and other Women of Color manage anxiety, depression, and trauma. I earned my BA in Criminology with a minor in African American and African Studies from The Ohio State University. I also completed a Master’s in Social Work, specializing in adolescent mental health. I’m currently pursuing a PhD in Clinical Social Work at The Institute for Clinical Social Work. My research and practice focus on psychodynamic therapy, healthy relationships, diversity, and social justice. I’ve worked in various settings, including residential treatment, college counseling, and inpatient psychiatric care. These experiences inspired me to start Rise Counseling Group to support marginalized populations in a nurturing therapeutic environment.
Marion Kvasnicka LCSW I am a resourceful Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has served many different communities and experienced a multitude of learning opportunities within different settings. I have more than 10 years of experience within social work and providing therapeutic services. I have worked within an inpatient emergency psychiatric stabilization center, group homes, an acute care hospital, and within private practice. I have been able to work with people of all ages, ethnicities, and disabilities in various social service settings. My open and compassionate environment will help you explore parts of yourself you haven’t felt safe enough to explore before. You. Are. Safe. With. Me. Let’s work!
Blanca Kleinfall Therapist @ Progressive Way Therapy Hi, my name is Blanca Kleinfall, pronouns she/her, and I’m a Hispanic therapist in the Dallas area. I’m a left-leaning therapist, which may be hard to find in Texas, but yes, we do exist! I want you to know that I accept you for who you are! Everyone deserves to feel safe and to be in a judgment-free environment. If you’ve ever been in a professional setting and been made to feel uneasy, I want you to know that my office is NOT the place where that is ever acceptable. As a minority myself, I enjoy working with other minorities as there is a mutual understanding of the struggles that only people of color go through. I’m aware of systemic issues in this country that began long before any of us were born, and yet they still affect our way of living to this day, be it race, sexual identity/sexual orientation, religion, or economic class. I want you to have a therapist where you feel included and safe, and I feel that I’ve been able to provide that to my clients.
Deborah Colling Registered Provisional Psychologist @ Deborah Colling Psychological Services First, I want to honor the decision you have made to take care of you! I especially love to work with diverse ethnicities; chronic health conditions; nurses; doctors; support through separation & divorce; grief and bereavement; young adults & teens; medical or stress leave and disability. I wish you peace, wherever your journey takes you.

David Lai Dr David Lai I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience. My practice is based on three schools of psychology: mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral (CBT) and psychodynamic therapy. I am also an EMDRIA Certified therapist in Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).
Hailey Maire-Grant Director/Therapist @ Xenia Counseling I love working with clients who are currently looking for more balance in their lives, be it due to a life change or realizing they have been relying on ways to regulate that haven't been the best for them. I enjoy working with teenagers in the beginning stages of learning about these things, as well as with adults in readjusting their paths to get back on track. Clients who choose to work with me are wanting to make lasting changes and know I will be available to help them stay consistent with those goals. I help my clients identify realistic growth-minded goals. I work to be as authentic as possible to help establish a trusting relationship with my clients and try to help them know how to help themselves reach their own goals. I help clients find their confidence in order to be the one to help them make positive and lasting changes. I know that finding a therapist can be hard, and on top of that finding the areas you need to work on can be vulnerable. I want to make that easier!
Pamela Hicks Atha Therapy I work with people as a guide to assist in the healing process through the lens that you are the expert in your life. The noises of life have been too loud, and the messages of others have made it nearly impossible to hear that inner wisdom. My goal is to guide you in your healing process to reconnect to that knowing part so you can heal how you need to. I utilize "parts" work (IFS), somatic/bodywork (SEI/SPI), EMdR/Brainspotting, mindfulness-based practices (MBSR, Therapeutic Yoga), and communication work (EFT and NVC) to assist my clients in their healing work. All of these methods work exceptionally well with trauma/PTSD. I integrate multiple methods to help each person in the way that best suits them.
Courtney Cooper Resident in Counseling @ Redefine Therapy Life can bring experiences that feel overwhelming, confusing, or difficult to navigate. I approach therapy with compassion and clarity, creating a space where you can explore your story without judgment. I’m an active clinician, meaning I balance processing with practical skill-building and psychoeducation. At times, I offer between-session work to help solidify progress & support real-world change. I'm trained in EMDR, an evidence-based approach for trauma & other distressing experiences. EMDR helps individuals safely access and reprocess painful memories so they no longer carry the same weight. I’ve seen the impact this work can have, including during a recent opportunity to help facilitate EMDR in a group setting in Ukraine. My goal is to provide a supportive, collaborative environment where you can gain insight, strengthen your resilience, and move toward the life you want to build. I welcome new clients and am glad to discuss whether my approach aligns with your goals for therapy.
