Nicole Freeman LMFT @ Strawberry Fields Psychotherapy I view the healing process as a well-organized and elegant matrix. There is a formulaic approach to all suffering. I utilize intuition and my rigorous training in EMDR, DBT, and Jungian psychology to determine what is needed in the moment as an effective intervention. After rapport is built and my client fully trusts me, we begin the journey of exploration and healing together with both urgency and compassion.
Arielle Sokoll- Ward LCSW-S @ Arielle Sokoll-Ward, LCSW, PLLC Hey, y'all! I'm a therapist in Austin, TX, and have a passion for working with individuals going through grief and loss and/or who have experienced trauma. I believe that starting with a strength-based and relational approach and tailoring the sessions to your needs, is essential in building rapport and trust in the session. Therapy is not “one size fits all”, and I will meet you where you are in a supportive and flexible manner. Sometimes it takes a third-party perspective to help navigate and process who we are, who we can be, and what we want out of life. I will provide a comfortable space to talk about the uncomfortable. You should expect to learn a thing or two about yourself, as well as add unique skills and coping techniques to your mental health toolbox. I am also a professional speaker and author of the book, "Adding the E: Perspectives of Grief Through Recounts, Letters, and Poetry."

JD Wright Psychologist I strive to work from a trauma-informed perspective with everyone I see. Within that perspective, I recognize that trauma is both pervasive and systemic and that healing means moving towards an engaged and meaningful life, rather than fixing something broken. In my work with you, I will take a holistic approach by striving to understand and respect your entire context, including your culture, identities, and history. I believe that strength and healing come from within, and I will work to create a safe environment from which I can support you in finding pathways forward. In our work together, I will draw from mindfulness-based therapies including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). I am trained in EMDR and utilize it to help clients move through traumas that are interfering with their ability to fully engage in their life.
Mary Clare de Echevarria Healing Complex Trauma Ltd I am a native English-speaking psychotherapist, EMDRIA/EMDR Europe accredited consultant, and teach advanced EMDR courses in the UK, the Arab countries, and online. I speak Spanish and French, though not enough to practise therapy completely in these languages, and some Levantine Arabic. Living and teaching in Arab countries and maintaining close relationships with European, Arab and Indian friends and colleagues has given me the privilege of learning at least a little about different Western and Eastern cultures. The way I work integrates many different modalities and approaches, including relational psychotherapy, psychodynamic understanding, AEDP, Attachment-Focused EMDR, the Progressive Approach, all models of work with ego states and dissociative parts, somatic approaches and transpersonal psychotherapy. However, EMDR is my go-to, as I find it the quickest and most user-friendly. My approach is very practical and empowering, helping people to overcome suffering and grow.
Cheri Slaughter LCSW @ Align EMDR Counseling/The Center for Collective Insight ***I am currently offering telehelath therapeutic sessions. I am licensed in Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona as an LCSW.*** At this time I am not licensed in other states. Other countries may not prohibit licensed telesessions. We face challenges every day and if there are unknown triggers holding you to past patterns that are not working, or to unfair judgements about yourself, there could be an invisible barrier to living your best life. If you are experiencing ongoing anxiety and depression you may have trauma memories that are imprinted in your brain's unconscious. Let's work together to get a sense of who you are and what your ideal self entails. We will look at your life, your values and utilize your strengths to uncover what may be holding you back from your best you, and your best life. I look forward to meeting you. My pronouns are she, her, hers and while my main focus is EMDR I find joy in implementing unique approaches that we will set together.

Taylor Mefford Mental Health Counselor @ Closetless Counseling Hi there! I am an EMDR-trained therapist specializing in bereavement, panic disorder, PTSD, and LGBTQ+ concerns. Broadly, I consider myself an expert in trauma -- how it affects the body and mind, as well as how to learn new ways of coping with that impact. More specifically, I do a lot of work with highly-anxious individuals, helping them to find the source of their anxiety and discover ways of addressing it. EMDR can be useful in uncovering these sources and adapting to them in healthy ways. In terms of specific concerns, many of the people I work with have experienced some sort of "health trauma" -- trauma related to illness/injury, its treatment (including hospitalization and surgery), and death (terminal illness or bereavement after loss). I also have over a decade of experience supporting queer people in a variety of capacities, and have been successful in helping people through the coming out process, relationship issues, and HIV/AIDS diagnosis.
