About

I'm Tracy Carlson, M.Ed., LPC-Associate, a Texas-based therapist specializing in trauma, PTSD, complex trauma, anxiety, and the ways difficult experiences shape how we see ourselves and the world. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and rooted in the belief that healing involves more than understanding what happened. It means helping the mind and body recognize that the past no longer has to define the present. I integrate EMDR therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed approaches, CBT, and other evidence-based techniques, tailoring treatment to each client's needs. I believe therapy should feel like a genuine conversation, not a clinical interrogation. I bring warmth, curiosity, authenticity, and humor when appropriate, while honoring each client's experiences and pace. My goal is to help clients move beyond simply surviving toward feeling more connected, confident, and comfortable in their own lives.
