Welcome—I'm a substance abuse therapist who specializes in treating the underlying trauma that often drives addictive patterns. I believe substance use is rarely the “problem” itself, but a response to pain, protection, or unmet needs. I use EMDR as a core part of my work, helping clients process the experiences and beliefs that keep them stuck so healing can happen at the root. I work with adults navigating substance use, relapse patterns, codependency, trauma, and relationship challenges. My style is compassionate, warm, and centered on helping you find autonomy and agency for yourself, while grounded in understanding how the nervous system, early experiences, and survival strategies shape present behaviors. Recovery isn’t one‑size‑fits‑all. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and empowered as we use EMDR and other trauma‑informed approaches to build new ways of coping that honor your whole self—mind, body, and spirit.
