About
Unbound Phoenix Therapy offers trauma-informed, relationship-focused therapy for individuals, couples, and families across Virginia. We specialize in helping clients heal from trauma, navigate life transitions, and strengthen emotional connection—especially those who are LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, polyamorous, kinky, fat-affirmed, or navigating nontraditional relationships. Our work integrates evidence-based and creative approaches, including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, DBT skills, play therapy, and expressive arts. Therapy here is collaborative, affirming, and rooted in the belief that healing doesn’t require shrinking yourself to fit someone else’s mold. Unbound Phoenix Therapy is a space for growth, authenticity, and resilience—supporting clients as they rise from burnout, trauma, and disconnection to build lives and relationships that feel aligned, connected, and unapologetically their own.
