About
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, licensed in the state of Colorado, where I have lived since 2008. Previously, I lived and was licensed in the state of Oklahoma. My Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work is from University of Oklahoma (OU). My Bachelors Degree in Sociology, with a Minor in Criminal Justice and a Specialty in Social Work, is from University of Central Oklahoma (UCO). My Associates Degree in Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counseling is from Oklahoma State University (OSU). In my 20+ years of counseling, I have worked with at-risk families, families involved with Child Protective Services, adults involved in the criminal justice system (including incarcerated, probation, and parole), working with those involved in traumatic events (natural disasters, terror attacks, suicide, military combat, etc.), those with PTSD, grief (including anticipatory grief), and work with the elderly. I use many methods of therapy, including EMDR, CBT, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
