About
Hi, I'm Shawn Marie Towle, LCSW. I’ve been providing psychotherapeutic services for over 20 years, working with children (ages 4+), adolescents, and adults in the Austin area. I believe that therapy is most effective when you feel truly seen, heard, and safe—and that’s the environment I strive to create in every session. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and creative. I tailor therapy to meet your unique needs, whether that’s through traditional talk therapy, EMDR, Sand Tray work, play therapy, or expressive arts. I have a fully stocked playroom and sand tray collection. I love helping clients of all ages explore feelings and stories in ways that feel natural. I specialize in grief, trauma, attachment, and life transitions. I've supported children and families during life's hardest moments and am honored to witness the healing that follows. I truly love this work and the meaningful shifts it brings.
