About
The practice of therapy is often the practice of relationship in a safe, structured, and contained environment. My clients deal with issues related to trauma, depression, anxiety, ADD, ADHD, relationship, sexual orientation and gender identity. Each client comes in with a different story, background, and constellation of experiences and capabilities. When we engage and work together, it is that connection that leads to therapeutic change. While my practice is based largely on the humanistic theories described by Relational Psychoanalysis and Existential Phenomenology, I am also trained in and utilize adult integrative psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
