The Road to Freedom Hi, my name is Laura Amelia Gutierrez, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of FL. I have a wide variety of experiences working with different types of mental health issues but have the most experience helping people who struggle with anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders or have unresolved trauma. My hope is to provide a safe space for you to process your emotions, develop a deeper understanding of your needs, wants and who you are, and help you make progress in your healing journey. Some of the therapeutic modalities I use are: EMDR, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Parts Work, Somatic Psychotherapy, and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT tapping/tapping solutions). I also like to integrate Gestalt Techniques and Narrative Techniques into my approach. I hope to provide you with a space for you to
