À propos
I take a humanistic and client- centered approach and pride myself on being genuine and authentic and having a sense of humor. I have been in this field for 15 years. My area of specialty is working with Fire, Police, Corrections, Dispatch, EMS, and Veterans.I am a certified EMDR Therapist and I am trained in Critical Incident Stress Management and also volunteer and serve on the Central Massachusetts Critical Incident Stress Management Team as its Clinical Director. My goal is to get my clients back to their shifts and feel some relief. Trauma reactions are normal. It is a normal reaction to an abnormal event. I grew up in a first responder and veteran world. I liked it so much that I married into the job. I have come to understand the culture of the jobs well, which is an important step into connecting with my clients. I have an incredible assistant named Bella; a chocolate lab puppy who is in training to become a therapy dog for the practice. I offer both inperson/ Virtual therapy
