Dr. Mazzei is a Health Psychologist and specializes in the treatment of trauma/PTSD, anxiety, and addiction. She also works with those who have certain health conditions involving a psychological issue, including insomnia, post-partum depression, infertility, and chronic pain and illness. She was trained in EMDR during graduate school and has been successfully using EMDR since then. She's helped many of her patients overcome the trauma of their past to live a fuller and healthier life. Dr. Mazzei has found EMDR successful both in-person and virtually. In addition to EMDR, she utilizes Cognitive-Behavioral therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), biofeedback, and hypnosis. She focuses on tailoring your therapy to meet your needs, while fostering a compassionate space in which to heal and thrive.
