I am here to help! I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist working in the Bay Area for over 20 years. I have experience working with women, teens and young adults, individuals with complex family issues, trauma, addiction, and career barriers/stressors. I have a pre-marrital curriculum developed that has been useful for couples contemplating marriage or with wedding plans, think through and assert what they already know about each other and explore what they don't. I was certified in EMDR in 2001 and use this intervention on individuals with trauma histories and areas where they have a memory that creates challenges for them to move forward. Other strategies used include Internal Family Systems - parts work, Mindfulness, Interactive Guide Imagery, Breath work and Emotional Freedom Technique - tapping. Mostly, I join the client in their efforts to feel better and have more control of the choices they make. Would be happy to meeting you!
