I am a native English-speaking psychotherapist, EMDRIA/EMDR Europe accredited consultant, and trainer in the UK, the Arab countries, and online. I speak Spanish and French, though not enough to practise therapy completely in these languages, and some Arabic. Living and teaching in Arab countries and maintaining close relationships with European, Arab and Indian friends and colleagues has given me the privilege of learning at least a little about connection and collaboration across diverse Western and Eastern cultures. The way I work integrates many different modalities and approaches, including relational psychotherapy, psychodynamic understanding, AEDP, Attachment-Focused EMDR, the Progressive Approach, all models of working with ego states and dissociative parts, somatic approaches and transpersonal psychotherapy. However, EMDR is my go-to, as I find it the quickest and most user-friendly. My approach is practical and empowering, helping people to overcome suffering and grow.
