Elizabeth Samet You deserve to feel free and strong. I support you when your coping abilities are being tested, and together we discover ways for you to thrive, regardless of your circumstances. I know asking for help is hard. Having the courage to do so is commendable. Your time is valuable. Finding the right therapist can be exhausting. I offer free 15-minute phone consultations to see if we are a good fit. I specialize in reducing anxiety, depression and the negative effects from trauma or disturbing events. I primarily use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing). This is a non-invasive evidence-based psychotherapy that involves less talking than other forms of therapy. You can feel better without discussing the details of what happened. My goal is to help you live the life you want. We work together so that you are free to respond to situations rather than react. Treatment will increase your innate coping capacity which builds self-esteem and empowers you to pursue your goals and dreams.
Julie DeFalco Psychotherapist; Licensed Clinical Social Worker @ 180 Counseling I truly believe clients have the answers within themselves and can discover their best path with the help of a therapist who offers acceptance, empathy and insight. I strive to help clients develop the best version of themselves according to their own definition. I have a client-centered approach, so therapy is tailored to each person's individual needs and preferences. I am experienced in providing individual and adjunctive family therapy, with specialties in treating mood disorders (depression, anxiety, Bipolar Disorder) and underlying traumas, teaching mindfulness, and educating on adolescent development. It’s important for me to help clients understand the motivation for their behaviors and learn healthy coping skills and emotional expression.
Mark Muse Owner/Therapist @ Mark Muse Counseling, LLC The word trauma can bring up many different feelings, and might even leave you wonder if you are impacted by trauma. Many note not wanting to call it trauma because "it just wasn't that bad." Regardless of the size of the trauma, it can have a significant impact on your life and how you cope. My role is to support you in identifying how trauma has affected you and a path through it without judgement. My approach to treatment is always to "meet you where you are." That means that we will always take the time to notice what is most important at the time, without judgment, as well as incorporating your goals. To work with the trauma, I utilize EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) in conjunction with other methods that are well established and tested. To get started, I recommend a short initial consultation to discuss what's bringing you to therapy and be sure we are a good fit. The initial consultation has no commitment and is no charge. I am an EMDR Certified Therapist

Additionally, I have a PSYPACT credential as well which means that I am able to work with people in 38 states in addition to North Carolina, where she is licensed.

Samantha Harrold I provide art and somatic therapies via telehealth to residents throughout the beautiful state of California in order to support my mission of helping adult survivors of trauma break free from anxiety and fear so they can feel safe in their own bodies, and live an empowered life. As an artist and yogi I am a firm believer in the power of holistic healing, which considers the whole person -- body, mind, spirit, and emotions -- in the quest for health and wellness.
