Acerca de
I value the uniqueness that each person brings to the world. Hence, my trauma-informed treatment approach integrates the unique aspects of your culture and values and explores how societal values influence your presenting problem/s. My ultimate goal is to help you regain control of your life where you feel empowered to make decisions that benefit you and those important to you. I have 20 years of experience as a therapist. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist and certified in EMDR therapy. I have used EMDR in my practice with clients presenting with a range of traumas from complex trauma resulting from years of childhood abuse to combat-related trauma. I feel privileged to have the opportunity to help restore hope and quality of life in trauma survivors. While EMDR is my primary treatment approach for trauma, depression and anxiety, I integrate attachment and systems theories in my work with individuals, couples and families.
