My ideal client is a person who has difficulties with depression/anxiety, loneliness, divorce, domestic violence, abuse, grief, fear, isolation, adjustment, lack of direction, traumatic issues, etc. My approach is integrative and individualized; each individual's sessions and progress look different. I am an LMHC that works with clients from the first contact. I am a compassionate, empathic, and supportive therapist. I grew in my clinical skills through years of practice with all clients, regardless of race, color, national origin, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or disability. I use various therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) therapies. Our problems have multiple layers; therefore, our solutions must come from various therapeutic approaches. I am an EMDR-certified therapist. I also provide sessions in Spanish.
