During my past 25 years as a therapist, I've worked with children, adolescents and adults with a variety of presenting problems, including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, unresolved childhood trauma, PTSD, relationship issues among other difficulties. I am EMDR Certified and a trauma-informed and autism-informed therapist. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Iowa and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois. I use an integrative therapeutic approach pulling from Mindful Self-Compassion, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy, and Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy. I offer a supportive, confidential and safe place for you to work through obstacles, struggles, and current/past traumas to find a sense of peace and happiness in life.
