Hello and welcome to Higher Ground Counseling and Coaching! My name is Cynthia Burman, I am a mental health therapist and a certified life coach for people seeking a better mental health well being. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Mental Health Counselor Supervisor (LCMHCS) in the state of North Carolina and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. I am also a certified IPEC (Institute of professional excellence in coaching). I work with individuals to who want to feel better that are struggling through transition. I know what it is like to pick yourself back up after going through life challenges. We all have the opportunity to learn and grow into our full potential. Seeking support to become all that you can be, can be difficult and scary. I completely understand it can be tough to reach out for help.
