I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist from San Diego, Ca. I work with adults & adolescents who experience depression, anxiety, substance use, and trauma. I have strong experience with EMDR. I have been in the mental health field for 9 years. My treatment approach is client centered and trauma informed, focusing on metabolizing trauma and negative beliefs. I have worked in private practice for 3 years where they specialized in trauma informed care and the treatment of PTSD, being a fundamental piece of my practice and my client's successes and progress. My goals for clients include creating a safe environment, providing empathetic listening, and processing trauma and negative beliefs so that they can live the life they deserve. I am inspired by people overcoming hardships and wants to assist her client's do the same. I accept UHC, Oxford, Oscar, Aetna, Cigna, and BCBS insurance.
