Hi! What makes today different? Today is different because something happened that made you decide, "Hey, I really need to do something about my life. I need to talk to somebody." Hi! I’m Dr. Leslie Ring. Some clients come to me because the bottom just fell out of their lives, a setback at work or school, a betrayal discovered, or the loss of a loved one. For others, they just don’t want to keep living like this anymore. Old hurts from childhood or previous relationships keep robbing them of their peace of mind, creativity, fun, and closeness with others. They (who doesn't?) have trouble sometimes communicating or setting limits with people in their lives. Or they have complex relationships with food, alcohol, their phones, and numbing out in front of the TV. I am very aware that change can be scary (hey, I'm a person, too!) so we will work at a safe yet exciting pace to reconcile your past with your present so you can create and embrace a future on your terms.
