My name is Christina Harney and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. I am a second generation Mexican American and was born and raised on the Central Coast. I am the owner of a small telehealth only private practice called Advanced Behavioral Health Care of the Central Coast, LLC. I have a wonderful husband, two children who I live for, a sassy granddaughter and two rambunctious dogs. My life and heart are full which enables me to help others live a healthy and happy life. As a heterosexual female, and a person of color, I use my personal experience to adjust my interventions to be inclusive and sensitive to the needs of my diverse clientele. My philosophy for treatment is that as humans, we are naturally geared to move toward health and wellness. Our bodies have a biological imperative for healing through our central nervous system. I have specialty training in the following treatment modalities: EMDR Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing; CBT Cognitive
