I am first-generation American, born in Queens, raised in Long Island, and educated in across the country (NY, CA, FL). I come from a small nuclear family, with one sister, but a village of cousins and extended family helped raise me. I became a social worker in an effort to reach individuals, like myself, that needed a judgment free third person to listen and reassure that not one person needs to be alone in the world. I understand that everyone has strengths as well as stress and both can be used toward creating a successful life. I incorporate therapeutic modalities that target the mind, body, and spirit and believe that an individual is the expert of their life circumstances. In order to get to a place of inner peace and outer balance I approach therapy the way I would approach a friend in need. Each body has worth in this world and it's my pleasure to walk alongside those searching and celebrating theirs.
