Colleen has offered therapeutic counselling and psychotherapy since the 1980s. She is an experienced, accredited therapist working with a wide range of difficulties. Her main therapeutic focus is EMDR therapy (eye movement desensitisation & reprocessing), especially attachment focused EMDR where she is able to draw on her many years of psychodynamic psychotherapy, working with longer term issues. Where relevant, she also integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS) with EMDR. Colleen was a former senior psychology lecturer, a founder member of the Leeds' Women's Counselling & Therapy Service, an author and she is also an Alexander Technique teacher.
