Angela is an LCSW with 40 years of experience in private practice. Understanding that the therapeutic relationship is the firm foundation of any work that is completed, Angela has a warm and engaging style and utilizes evidence-based practices that integrate the best research evidence with clinical expertise and client values. She works with adults 18 years and older, including senior adults. Angela engages with people who have depression, anxiety, social and other phobias, OCD, childhood and/or adulthood trauma and complex PTSD as well as those who are just trying to adjust to changes in their lives including grief and loss, difficult medical diagnoses, chronic pain, changes in employment, the birth of a child, the empty nest, or existential concerns. She also understands the needs of caregivers and can offer support and a path to acceptance and/or change. Additionally, Angela works with couples experiencing marital stress utilizing Gottman methods and Emotionally Focused Therapy. A
